Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID you bought it with. If it still does not unlock, write to us with the date of purchase.
Check the volume, and check that no other app has taken over audio output. The click is designed to be audible even with the silent switch on and to play alongside other audio rather than stopping it — if it does not, tell us which app was playing at the time.
That is deliberate. A metronome fighting your hand makes the tempo impossible to feel, so it steps aside while you are tapping and comes back a moment after you stop, at the tempo you just tapped.
Tap at least four times in a steady rhythm. Leaving a long gap starts a new measurement, and tapping at a noticeably different speed restarts the average on purpose, so switching tempo does not blend into the previous one.
No. Everything lives on the device, which is also why the app works with no network. Deleting the app deletes your settings; your purchase survives, because Apple keeps it.
